We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service govern the manner in which we collect, use, maintain and disclose information collected from you, or that you provide to us on the Salary Board’s Employer Portal (Site).

If you are under 18, please do not send any personal data about yourself to us.


    1. 1.1. In order to provide a better service to you, we may collect the following data :
      1. 1.1.1. Personal identification information from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit our Site, register on the Site, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. You may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, phone number. We will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. You can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
      2. 1.1.2. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
      3. 1.1.3. Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfillment of your orders.
      4. 1.1.4. We may collect non-personal identification information about you whenever you interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about your means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service provider utilized and other similar information.
    2. 1.2. We only retain personal data for so long as it is necessary. Data may be archived as long as the purpose for which the data was used still exists.

    1. 2.1. We collect and might use the information we collect for the following purposes:
      1. 2.1.1. To improve customer service. Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
      2. 2.1.2. To personalize your experience. We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our customers as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
      3. 2.1.3. To improve our Site. We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
      4. 2.1.4. To send periodic emails. We may use your email address to send you information and updates pertaining to your orders. It may also be used to respond to your inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or you may contact us via our Site.
      5. 2.1.5. To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
      6. 2.1.6 To comply with laws and regulations applicable to us or any of our affiliates in or outside Singapore.
      7. 2.1.7. For legal proceedings, including collecting overdue amounts and seeking professional advices.
      8. 2.1.8. Designing and conducting surveys/questionnaires for client profiling/segmentation, statistical analysis, improving and furthering the provision our products and services;
      9. 2.1.9. Promoting and marketing services and products subject to your exercise of the opt-out right.
      10. 2.1.10. Researching, designing and launching services or products including seminars/events/forums.
    2. 2.2. We intend to use your data in direct marketing and we require your consent (which includes an indication of no objection) for that purpose. In this connection, please note that:
      1. 2.2.1. Your name, contact details (including contact number and email address), products and services information, transaction pattern and behaviour, background and demographic data held by us from time to time may be used by us in direct marketing.
      2. 2.2.2. We may conduct direct marketing via email, direct mail, telephone and other means of communication or send e-newsletters to you. You may choose not to receive promotional materials, by simply telling us (see section 12 for contact details), and we will cease to do so.

    1. 3.1. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
    2. 3.2. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
    3. 3.3. Although we will do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; any transmission is at your own risk and you agree not to hold us responsible for any breach of security while accessing the internet that is out of our control. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

    Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance your experience. Your web browser places cookies on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about you. You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.


    1. 5.1. The following policies apply depending on the type of data you provide through our Site:
      1. 5.1.1. Business information. This is information related to the entity you represent and that you provide to us while using our Services, for example while generating reports such as Job Insights, Employee Insights and Candidate Insights. WE WILL KEEP THE BUSINESS INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL AT ALL TIMES AND WE WON’T PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO ANY AGENT, ADVISOR, CONTRACTOR, BUSINESS PARTNER, FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OR ANY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER IN CONNECTION TO OUR OPERATIONS AND SERVICES.
      2. 5.1.2. Personal information. This is information related to your account. We will keep the personal data we hold confidential but may provide information to:
        1. agents, advisers, auditors, contractors, financial institutions, and service providers in connection with our operations or services;
        2. our overseas offices, affiliates, business partners and counterparts (if any);
        3. persons under a duty of confidentiality to us;
        4. persons to whom we are required to make disclosure under applicable laws and regulations in or outside Singapore; or
        5. actual or proposed transferees or participants of our services in or outside Singapore.
    2. 5.2. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your personal information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

    You may find advertising or other content on our Site that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.


    Ads appearing on our site may be delivered to you by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non personal identification information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

  10. 10. YOUR RIGHTS

    1. 10.1. Under the Personal Data Protection Act (the "PDPA"), you have the right:
      1. 10.1.1. To check whether we hold personal data about you and to access such data.
      2. 10.1.2. To require us to correct as soon as reasonably practicable any data relating to you that is inaccurate.
      3. 10.1.3. To ascertain our policies and practices in relation to personal data and the kind of personal data held by us.
      4. 10.1.4. To object to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes and we shall not use your personal data for marketing purposes after you communicate your objection to us.
    2. 10.2. You may exercise your opt-out right by notifying us if you wish to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Please send requests for such objections, access to data, correction of data, information regarding policies and practices and kinds of data held, questions or complaints to [email protected].
    3. 10.3. In accordance with the terms of the PDPA, we have the right to and may charge a minimum fee for processing any data access request.

    Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall limit the rights of the data subject under the PDPA. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
